Your AP record tells college admissions a lot about you. Taking AP courses shows your academic vigor and ability to tackle demanding material. Good performances in AP courses indicate your high potential for scholastic achievement at the college-level. On top of that, high scores on AP exams may earn you college credit, helping you save time and money. More than 1,400 colleges and universities accept AP credits. Some colleges will recognize a grade of 3 as qualifying for credit. Most, though, require a 4 or 5.
